LLM Overload
Our society is overdosing on LLMs.
Forums and social media apps are swarmed with LLM bots that are posting slop to drive engagement.
Companies are chasing the hype and degrading UX of their apps to users, just to say they are AI ready to improve their valuations.
People are addicted to LLMs, using them a personal therapist to resolve all of their mental health issues.
I do see the value of LLMs, as I use them for coding tasks on a limited basis, but we have lost the plot on responsible usage.
AI providers have made commitments to safety, but they are not really incentivized to interfere with something that would not make "number go up".
Therefore, I urge anyone reading this to spread the word of responsible usage of AI systems.
